Big Hills House Plans can provide your with a basic report detailing construction costs, including materials and labor. The Construction Cost Report will detail the costs associated with your floor plan, but may not capture site-related expenses. 

Besides structural and system-based materials such as lumber and plumbing materials, a significant factor in building cost has to do with choices made by the client. Options like hardwood flooring, premium windows, granite counter-tops, and elaborate finish carpentry can quickly increase the cost of your build. Something to consider is the energy impact of the options you choose. For example, certain types of roofing, siding, insulation, or windows can have a major impact on the long-term cost of ownership, and influence taxes and resale value of your property.
